Feb 7/8th, Day 19/20

Well, yesterday was Thursday and a very quiet day, for me anyway. Enjoyed the sunshine. Iwas feeling a tad under the weather, so not quite up to snuff. The four of us went and checked out a new grocery store called Basha's. Very nice! The other three dropped me off with the groceries, and they went shopping!.....can't believe I didn't want to go...feel my forehead! Well actually, it was a tad warm ;).

Today, feeling better, so Steph and I went for a walk to Walgreens over the bridge. It's getting cooler for the weekend, so was brisk and felt wonderous!!! Felt good to be out too....and Walgreens, what a great store. The have one whole room full of liquor! Too bad I don't drink, could have a very good time in there! Managed to do a bit of damage anyway...loaded up on cold meds...little 'buggers' don't have a chance to survive now!

Steph and Harold went for a drive to Oatman, which is about an hour and a half north if here. It is a 'retired' gold town...over-run with donkeys, vying for attention AND FOOD!!! One of the pictures is of one little fella that was intent on seeing what the lady had. She apparently was feeding his buddy and jealousy abounded! They returned at supper time with a Giant bag of wonderful prawns. We are so spoilt!

Bill and I had a super relaxing morning sitting on the deck getting a bit of sun...yes, for those who know me well as a sun avoider, this will shock you! It was the perfect temperature and just down right called for! I might actually get a tan! Later, not to be too overtaxed with relaxation, I decided to clean the garage floor while one car was gone...had been bugging me. It is now so clean it is a work of art! Started another bracelet and almost finished my book.

Found out that the storms are abrewing at our respective homes... Good luck to all our family and friends on the east coast. Looks like they are headed for a tough night. We are thinking if you and hoping all goes well.

We also want to wish our grandson Mason, a very happy 18 month birthday!!! Love and squishy hugs from gramma and grumpa. Miss you kiddo and mommy and daddy too.

Beanie and R.D., have a safe flight home, Sally and Bryan the sun is waiting for you, all the walkies, keep up the good work and can't wait to join back in the fun. Hugs to all the grandkidlets and make sure you give your moms and dads one for us. Sandy and Geoff, hope your travels are spectacular, and thanks Sue and Terry for looking after the home fires. To everyone else, we hope you are all well and happy....oh and Marsha, great to finally say 'hi'

Pics are the fire of tonight's sun shining on the mountains as it sets and the day at Oatman for Steph and Harold.

Xoxoxo
