Feb. 5/6th, day 17 and 18....

Yesterday had a great day, lounged outside on the deck and didnt get dressed til almost noon! Then headed over across the canal (stone's throw) to catch the ferry to the California side of the lake ( about a ten minute ride!) and went to the casino over there. We only stayed for an hour. I won 266.00 and of course volunteered to take the crew for din din. Good deal tough, because the black bear restaurant is very inexpensive...and oh so yummy!

Came home and once again took it easy....don't worry tho as exercise is not far off!!!

Bill, Steph and I watched Dwnton Abbey that I had taped from Sunday...now have at least Steph hooked !...but Bill is still sitting on the fence on that one!

I don't know how it is possible to actually keep healthy and shop at the same time, but today was an example. Steph and I went to JC Penny and we took off in different directions to meet up whenever, wherever, on the same floor. Well, should have made a set time and place, as I walked the whole floor looking for her and around and around and through and around several more times! I was exhausted and 'bagless!' I never bought anything (yikes!) but Steph did really well with her colourful purchases. So cute! We were so exhausted, her from trying on clothes, and me from walking the store until I had staff following me around, that we felt it only right that we treat ourselves to lunch and a manicure! How decadent and so fun we are going back for pedicures tomorrow!

American Idol tonight...wonder if I can sneak it on past the troupe?!....
