Feb 12/13 pre Valentines, day 24/25

Steph and I had a girls day with a pedicure and a meander around town and Dillard's. the fellas were off on their own, of course telling us tall tales of where they had been but the pictures they brought back tell a different story. They were investigating the boateries with the picture of Bill admiring one on the lot as proof. Otherwise a quiet day with the boys dreaming of 'toys' and the girls admiring their newly painted toes....
Wednesday proved to be semi quiet as well, with a grocery trip to Albertsons. Our first time in that particular establishment. Great store! We took off in the afternoon on the ferry across the lake to the casino in California. Harold was the big winner this time and the rest of us came home with empty pockets. Made the best spaghetti sauce tonight! Wowsers it was good...not sure how it tasted on warmed bean sprouts, but the consensus was favourable. A good or you dinner! Bill bought us girls huge!!! Chocolate dipped strawberries for valentines and we splurged for dessert tonight. Still not quite up to snuff so an early night again. Wonderful to get a good night's sleep....
