Feb 1st and 2nd. Day 13 and 14....Lake Havasu

Arrived in Havasu mid afternoon yesturday and were awed at the spaciousness of this beautiful home. So much more than we expected. It's lovely and we are very pleased! Steph and Harold arrived at six and after a yummy stir fry, we actually went to bed early...everyone exhausted. Our bedroom 'suite' is almost as big as our condo at home, and the whole place is about 3000 sq. feet, and certainly lots of room....Unreal!

What a sumptuous sleep! Sooo comfy....and a king...I swear, I'm gonna get a king at home. Bill says he hates them. Well, I love it!

Today was great. Slept in and spent the day driving around the city and grocery shopping and checking out eye glass lens costs. I have to admit this city is beautiful and has some really nice areas. It is a grown so much since we were here before! Very impressed!

Steph wants to go to Ross for Less tomorrow! Well, I love introducing newbies to my favorite store! More shopping!!!!

Going for a long walk tomorrow. We checked out the trails today. Beautiful walkways around the island along the lake. Lots of desert trails too, but will leave that for a couple of weeks. Walkies, you would love the area!

Pictures are the view from our deck, of the famous London Bridge and 'the village' across the channel. Big swap meet there tomorrow.
